Looking for a unique way to learn Spanish free?
When I went to university I studied with students from all over the world. On a whim one day I asked a few them who spoke several languages (I found this remarkable, but apparently only native English speakers think that learning languages is difficult) what the easiest language to learn was. They almost unanimously said that Spanish was.
I was fairly close to one of them, and he offered to show me a course that would allow me to learn Spanish free. I thought this was too good to be true, until I went online and found Rocket Languages.
I have always wanted to learn a new language. It was one of those things on my “bucket list” that I wanted to accomplish just for the sake of accomplishing it. That being said, I had tried French in high school and found it miserable. This soured me on language learning for a long time, and I put my goal on the back burner.
Rocket Languages was such a great experience for me. They provided lessons in so many different formats, and allowed me to customize the course to my particular learning style. It used 32 interactive audio lessons, 31 accompanying language lessons, 31 culture lessons (great for better understanding my Latin American friends) and a range of vocabulary-building software games.
I truly believe that anyone can learn Spanish free with Rocket Languages, just because they have so many different methods of instructions, that you are bound to fully engage with at least a few of them.
With the help of Rocket Languages I was soon conversing with my Latino friends and found that if Spanish wasn’t the easiest language to learn, then at least it was a lot easier than French! I should definitely point out that learning Spanish isn’t easy in a traditional sense, or at least it wasn’t for me.
While it was definitely a better experience than my high school French class, and is probably easier to learn than Japanese for example, it still requires a fair degree of work. My dad use to say, “Nothing worth doing is done easily,” and I think this is definitely true of learning a new language.
Rocket Languages doesn’t do the work for you by any means; but, what it does do is present the work for you in an easy-to-use format and make it accessible anytime. I cannot fully explain just how important it was for me to have the course available when I had the time to do it.
The flexibility of not having to attend a course everyday was critical to me as someone with a full schedule. Additionally, learning in the comfortable confines of my own home allowed me to maximize my time and relax into learning at my own pace.
I think the true answer to the question, “What is the easiest language to learn,” is whatever language you are motivated by. I wanted to communicate with some new friends and expand my horizons, other people want to make themselves more attractive to employers, and still some just want to learn it to make travelling easier.
I found that with a little work, and a fair amount of patience, I was speaking conversational Spanish in a matter of weeks.
With over 800,000 satisfied customers Rocket Languages has a pretty powerful track record. Check out some testimonials on their website like I did for further proof of how well the system works.
I am now proud to cross something off of my ultimate goals list, and have a great time practicing my Spanish with my international friends.
